In 1986, Will worked for Technophone-Nokia Ltd. in Camberley, UK as a RF circuit designer for analog portable cellular telephones. Then, in 1988 Will worked for Bell-Northern Research as a team leader for Northern Telecom's successful TDMA IS-54 digital cellular technology demonstration system for the TIA 2G trials.
Between 1989 and 1996, Will worked for Cellular Communications Inc. and its associated companies as Manager of Cellular Engineering (CCI), Director of Engineering and Technology (CCIl) and VP of Network Services (CCPR), managing the design and/or implementation of wireless networks in the US and other countries. During that time, Will also served as the Chairman of the Nortel Wireless Users Group and participated on the CTIA's Wideband Spread Spectrum (WBSS) technology evaluation committee. Will also worked on the design of a super-geostationary mobile satellite system for CCI.
During Will's Ph.D. research, he co-founded a company www.tierravision.com that develops advanced wireless street mapping applications for smartphones and wireless connected PDA's.

Will is a student member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers. Will's interests include skiing, kayaking, squash, cycling and DIY home improvement.
